The House

The Suminski Innski, founded in 2005, is a Bed & Breakfast located in the village of Tivoli in New York’s Hudson Valley. The 1847 Greek-Revival house includes ornate parlors and a wrap-around porch that overlooks the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains. It is a great spot for watching the sunset, canoeing on the Hudson River, listening to the birds, and having great conversations.

What People Are Saying

“My stay at the inn was truly magical.”

— Myra (Guest in April of 2019)

“This is a very special place. We stay every time we are in Tivoli. Don’t stay here if you prefer the anonymity and sterility of a hotel chain. But if you want bohemian atmosphere, down to earth hosts, chatting with the other interesting people who live and stay there, nice animals, delicious breakfast, progressive values, etc., then this is your place.”

— John (Guest in June of 2021)

“Tim was incredibly hospitable and very entertaining to be around. Felt immediately warmly welcomed and the home is beautiful.”

— Hallie (Guest in July of 2019)

“Tim's place is a special kind of magic, full of good vibes, fascinating details, and excellent company. We'll be back!”

— Elizabeth (Guest in January of 2020)

“…a place to come to if you want more than a nice place to sleep. The inn and people you’ll meet are eclectic and artistic in the best ways. Breakfast and coffee were delicious and paired well with Tim’s stories about the inn and the Hudson Valley area. Possibly our favorite part was having the breeze come through the windows at night and hearing the birds and frogs chirp, with the occasional train passing through in the morning.”

— Kimberly (Guest in June of 2021)

“…a uniquely funky and charming guest house, full of interesting people. We were treated to an informal piano recital at breakfast. The grounds are gorgeous and an extraordinarily good and hearty breakfast is provided.”

— Cheryl (Guest in September of 2019)

“Fun and unusual. Lots to love about it. I'll be back.”

— Jerry (Guest in October of 2018)
